LeBron James Calls Out Team France Ahead Of Olympic Showdown

Team USA Basketball has had little trouble marching through the 2024 Paris Olympics thus far.

At this point, there aren’t many squads that look like they can challenge the American side. Maybe Germany. Maybe Serbia. And up until recently, France was on that short list of teams as well, especially since the referees have been blatantly rigging games in their favor.

But something changed this past week.

Following Germany’s blowout victory over France, LeBron James opted to call Team France out.

“I wasn’t very impressed with their last game,” he said.

“I didn’t think they were ready for the physicality of Germany. Other than that, they were playing some good ball.”

It is hard to argue with James’ point. France got thoroughly worked by Germany.

That said – poking a team with two seven-footers doesn’t seem like a great idea either.

Will Team France make James and the Americans rue the day they opted to mock the French squad? Time will tell.
