2 Legit Trade Suitors Emerge For Warriors’ Jonathan Kuminga

The Golden State Warriors have long touted Jonathan Kuminga as one of their primarily building blocks for the future.

That said – it has consistently felt like the organization and the 22-year-old have struggled to get on the same page.

This was highlighted by the two sides’ inability to agree on a long-term extension this summer.

According to Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report, two teams have emerged as legitimate suitors for Kuminga’s services.

Those two teams?

The Philadelphia 76ers and Brooklyn Nets.

“The Sixers have definitely indicated around the league and behind the scenes that they are willing to pay and add in another piece right now,” Fischer said.

“They are willing to spend their draft capital.”

Fischer then added that Brooklyn may “throw a big offer sheet” at Kuminga this offseason.

Last year Kuminga averaged16.1 points per game. He often looked like the future budding star he had been hailed as.

That said – clearly the Warriors aren’t sold on him.

Will that lead to either the Nets or Sixers being able to swoop in and steal him away? Time will tell.
